CURRENT PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
PROGRAM & PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS
Civic Enterprise Network (the Network) supports and creates civic societies and social enterprises around the globe. Below are a list of themes that organizations are structured around, and internal programs we run.
RESPONSIBLE EMPLOYEE CAMPAIGN
Our Responsible Employee Campaign provides individuals the chance to get real experience and skills through fun and interesting activities. Therefore we help create and support organizations such as debate associations, youth sports academies, youth sports leagues, and after school activities.
The Civic Ambassadors Program offers a chance for 'the Network' to directly engage with community leaders. Part of this program is to highlight the individual and their achievements, to promote any activities they are involved in, and to request updates and media material of their social and community activities so that we may promote and acknowledge their actions of being positive community role models.
CIVIC RESEARCH LAB
Each semester, Civic Research Lab releases a Summation Book to promote education and community discussions. In addition the Institute for Policy Studies (based in Yongin University) and the Institute for Management Studies (based in the University of Peshawar) gather information and resources from around the world and make them available to students and aspiring academics, while hosting important educational events, seminars, and activities.
Our Com-Start Program helps civic, university, and community groups through a process known as Civic Incubation. Through this incubation process, Civic Enterprise Network provides opportunities, resources, and direct consulting to help with creation, maintaining, or rejuvenating a community.
Every day historic places are underutilized, neglected, and demolished. Presonomics promotes the economic benefits of preserving historic buildings around the world.
In a world that is struggling with economic crisis, skills to workplace mismatch, and organizational and political dysfunction, the Global Leadership Initiative is a virtual and physical summit which is advertised by the Civic Enterprise Network. This includes events all over the world that help to develop a modern leader!
The Social Betterment Award recognizes organizations and companies that are seeking community growth and abides by the three pillars of 'the Network'; community, compassion, communication.
HIGHER EDUCATION CAMPAIGN
The Higher Education Campaign assists students in applying for admission and scholarship at our partnership universities within the United States of America. Our students have a higher chance of admission and scholarship than if they applied on their own.
Receiving the LeaderShape award in 2006, Project TASK is a collection of activities and events that promote the protection and empowerment of children.
- Promote Respect (anti-rape)
- Stand Up! (anti-bullying)
- Volunteer Pledge
